Are the social networks barking up the wrong tree?
MySpace, Facebook and Twitter have a long way to go before any one of them will see a return on investment, if at all.
Here's my POV on the topic as posted in Media Life Magazine today.

"As adults in business we need to be curious about a lot, just as kids are curious about everything that crosses their paths. We need to commit to wandering around, smelling the flowers and picking up the snails along the way. We should be curious about and open to all different types of information that might shed some light on what we are trying to do.We also need to be open to new people. The freshest time to tap their ideas, perspectives and brainpower is when they first arrive in an organization. That is, before we teach them to act and think like us and follow the constraints we've established."
